Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

This policy explains what information FinixNorth collects when you use this site or apply for funding, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Who is responsible

FinixNorth is the controller of the personal information described here.

Registered entity name, registered address and a dedicated privacy contact address to be inserted here.

2. What we collect

When you apply for funding, we collect the information you enter in the application form:

  • your name, role, email address and (optionally) phone number;
  • your registered business name, trading name, business structure, year established, company registration number and country of registration;
  • industry, employee count, business location and website;
  • annual revenue band, funding amount sought, and what the capital is for;
  • your preferred way to have the first conversation, and any notes you add.

When you contact us through the contact page or support form, we collect your name, email address and message.

We do not ask for bank account details, card numbers or government identification numbers through this website. If we need documents of that kind at a later stage of an application, we will arrange a secure way to share them and explain why.

3. Why we use it

  • to assess your application and decide whether we can fund your business;
  • to contact you about your application and arrange the first conversation;
  • to respond to enquiries and support requests;
  • to manage an ongoing funding relationship, where one is agreed;
  • to meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations;
  • to detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the site.

Our lawful bases are: steps taken at your request before entering a contract; our legitimate interest in assessing applications, running and improving our business, and preventing fraud; and compliance with legal obligations.

4. We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Who we share it with

  • Technology providers — the hosting and database services that run this website and store submitted information securely on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting and compliance advisers where relevant to an application or arrangement.
  • Verification and credit reference sources — where we need to verify business information as part of assessing an application.
  • Authorities — where we are required to disclose information by law.

These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

6. Where it is stored

Information is stored on servers operated by our providers, which may be located outside your country. Where information is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place.

7. How long we keep it

Applications that do not proceed are kept only as long as needed for our records and for legal and fraud-prevention purposes, then deleted. Where a funding relationship is agreed, records are kept for the length of that relationship and for the period afterwards required by law and regulation. Contact and support messages are kept as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and to keep a reasonable record of correspondence.

8. Security

Data submitted through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in a database with access controls that prevent public reading of submitted records. Access is limited to people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

9. Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser's local storage may be used to hold a form submission temporarily if it cannot reach our database, so that your input is not lost. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and reliability.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate information corrected;
  • ask us to delete information, where we are not required to keep it;
  • object to or ask us to restrict certain processing;
  • receive a copy of information you gave us in a portable format;
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Children

This site is intended for people running or representing a business and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed, and the version on this page is the one that applies.

13. Contact

For any question about this policy or your information, use ourcontact page or the support link at the bottom of any page.
